SWEA International Scholarship 2012-2013

Swesub Women’s Educational Association International, Inc., is pleased to announce its annual scholarship of U.S. $ 10,000 (ten thousand U.S. dollars).

Candidates for SWEA International’s grant for research in the Swedish language, literature and society should be a well qualified graduate who study at a university outside of Sweden is permanently resident abroad.

It is essential that the candidate has registered his subject for his thesis.

No discrimination based on race, sex, age, religion, nationality, etc occur.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in writing as in speech is required.

Applicants should be sympathetic to the SWEA International’s mission and activities, and be willing to give lectures for SWEA members both in Sweden and abroad. The SWEA departments who invite the fellow to speak, stands for all travel expenses.

Members of SWEA, and their immediate families are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
