Connecticut Independent College Student Grant
Grants are wonderful – they are free money that doesn’t have to be paid back – ever! This grant award is based on financial need. It is to be used for undergrad study in designated private schools in the state of Connecticut and it is renewable each year.
You must be able to prove financial need for this award. To do this, fill out an Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application (www.fafsa.ed.gov) on line. No application fee is required. In addition, you will need to complete any paperwork required by the individual colleges. Deadline is based on deadlines set by each college. If you’d like more information about this grant, go to www.ctdhe.org.

This program is overseen by the Connecticut Department of Higher Education, and is designed to help Connecticut residents, who are also US citizens, who are in financial need. Monies awarded may be used at either a 2-year or 4-year college, but use is limited to state public colleges or universities. This award is based on need and is designed to fill the gap between the actual cost of school and the amount the student and parents can pay. In most cases it does not have to be repaid.

Arizona Scholarships for Honor Students
Doesn't a tuition waiver sound wonderful? If you're an Arizona stellar student, it's a possibility through the Arizona Board of Regents High Honors Tuition Scholarship. Imagine going to college for free! This dream is a reality for qualified Arizona students for in-state tuition only. The waiver is valid for a year following high school graduation. This fixed scholarship is renewable for three more years based on university criteria. The dollar amount of the award is based on the tuition charged by the Arizona university you enroll in.
