Academic Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate Students at Brunel University London in UK

Brunel UniversityBrunel University London is offering scholarships for full-time undergraduate students. Up to 150 scholarships will be allocated in August, prior to September entry, to those applicants who completed the scholarship application form by 31st July and who meet the required eligibility criteria. Scholarships will only be paid once for each level of study, subject to meeting progression requirements, regardless of the reason for repeating a level. Application deadline is 31st July 2013.

Eligibility: - 3 A levels with grades AAA or above

- International Baccalaureate Diploma with 35 points or above

- 3 Scottish Advanced Highers with grades AAA

- Higher Irish Leaving Certificate from 4 subjects with grades A1, A1, A1, A1

- BTEC Extended Diploma with grades D*D*D* (UCAS tariff equivalencies are not acceptable)

Scholarship Description: Scholarships will be allocated in August, prior to September entry, to those applicants who have made Brunel University their firm choice through UCAS and who meet the required eligibility criteria. Only Applicants with an offer can apply via the My Applications portal. Applicants will be considered for all the scholarships. If they are eligible for more than one, they will be awarded the scholarship with the highest monetary value. The scholarship will be in the form of a £3,000 fee waiver or £2,000 fee waiver and £1,000 cash award, each year for a maximum of three years, provided that the progression criteria have been met. A separate scholarship is available during the placement year for those who meet the criteria and other placement bursaries may be available for those on an unpaid placement without paid expenses.Where more applicants meet the criteria than there are scholarships available, allocation will be made in the order in which the scholarship application was received at Brunel University. Where insufficient applicants meet the criteria to enable all the scholarship money to be allocated, consideration will be given to students who achieve AAB or equivalent
