BMZ,GIZ,DAAD are funding EMEA Master’s Scholarships Programme. The scholarship is jointly offered with the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut. The scholarships is awarded in to study in Economic Change in the Arab Region. Scholarship is offered for selected MENA countries and German applicants. The scholarship is tenable at Germany, Lebanon, and MENA region. Applicants must have bachelor’s degree in the field of economics. English language proficiency and proof of two year work experience is required.

Eligibility: -The minimum academic qualification is a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a focus on Economics.
-Applicants must have acquired at least 72 credits within the framework of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) in economics-related subjects.
-Out of these, at least 54 ECTS have to be in the field of Economics, while up to 18 ECTS may be obtained from related subjects (e.g. statistics, maths for economists, etc.).
-Applicants are required to provide proof of English language skills of at least C1 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or equivalent.
Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Masters Scholarship are available to nationals of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Germany, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
Scholarship Description: Economics of the Middle East (EMEA) is a new Master’s programme jointly offered with the Lebanese American University. It was designed reflecting our experience with the successful Master’s programme ‘Economic Change in the Arab Region’ (ECAR).
