 Vet Teacher Scholarship Program

Victorian government offers Vet Teacher Scholarship Program to ensure that the Victorian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector is recognised for the quality provision of its training. The government funded 700 scholarships to the value of $1000 each which will be approved in limited numbers to each of the VET sectors. These scholarships are for Victorians working in VET or seeking to move into VET sector employment.

Study Subject(s): Victorian government funded scholarships study in TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development, 21697VIC Diploma of VET Practice or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Course Level: This scholarship is available for pursuing teaching level.
Scholarship Provider: The Victorian Government
Scholarship can be taken at: Australia

Eligibility: -All successful applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents living in Victoria.
-They will be studying or intending to study an approved qualification at an approved provider.
Eligible applicants will be:
- secondary school employees
- current VET employees at
- a Victorian TAFE institute OR
- a Victorian ACFE provider OR
- a Registered Training Organization (RTO) which is a contractor approved by the Higher Education and Skills Group to provide Victorian government funded training
- individuals wishing to qualify for teaching work in the VET sector.
-Scholarships are limited to one per person.

Scholarship Description: The cornerstone of the National Training Framework is quality outcomes in Vocational Education and Training (VET) delivery and assessment. To help ensure the Victorian VET sector is recognized for the quality of its training, the Victorian government has provided funding for scholarships for Victorians working in VET or seeking to work in the VET sector.There are limited numbers of scholarships.  Diploma level studies are a priority for 2013 scholarships for all applicants, except secondary school employees.There is an allocation of 350 scholarships for employees of the secondary school system which will be considered in order of receipt.  There are another 350 scholarships available to general applicants which, after priority is given to people studying at diploma level, will be considered in order of receipt.
