University of the West of England announces Chancellor’s Scholarship to study a one year postgraduate programme. A full tuition fee scholarship will be awarded to two outstanding students to study at UWE. Recipients will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Development Office and other departments and will also be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course. Applicants applying for the scholarship must have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st in their undergraduate degree. Applicants are selected based on academic merit.

Eligibility: -have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st in their undergraduate degree

-have an unconditional offer by 31 May of a place to study a one year postgraduate programme at UWE which they have firmly accepted

-be a new student and be classed as overseas for fees purposes

-not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award.

Click on the specific course you wish to apply for. Click on the “How to apply” link found at the top right hand side of the page. If applicants can apply for the course online there will be a link which will take them directly to the application form.

Duration of Award: Scholarship is offered for 1 year.

Selection Criteria: Applicants are selected based on academic merit and the information that is provided in their application form and statement.

Notification: Students will be informed of the decision by June 30, 2013.

How to Apply: Eligible applicants will be invited to apply via a task in their welcome website. Once the university received applicant’s application, they will email the log in details so that applicant can access his/her personal UWE welcome website which has been designed to help you manage all aspects of the application and entry to UWE.  Applicants are selected based on academic merit and the information that is provided in their application form and statement.
