Applicants must be high school senior or enroll as a first year college student in a U.S. accredited 4-year College or university. Applicants must be degree-seeking student majoring in math, engineering, or a science in the fall of 2013. Applicants have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0. Scholarship Description: The Asian Pacific Community Fund partners with Verizon to financially assist students in their pursuit of higher education as they face the challenge of significantly rising costs of obtaining a college degree. These awards will support those who excel academically, are leaders amongst their peers and are making a positive impact in their communities. The Asian Pacific Community Fund and Verizon are proud to announce the awardees of the 2011 Scholarship Program. These students each received $1,000 to assist them with their pursuit of higher education.
