The Asian Pacific Community FundAsian Pacific Community Fund partners with Verizon offer Verizon Scholarship Awards Program in USA. The scholarship is provided to study in math, engineering, or a science. The students of USA can apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be residents of California, Oregon or Washington or students attending college in one of those states. Applicants must be high school senior or enroll as a first year college student in a U.S. accredited 4-year College or university. Applicants must be degree-seeking student majoring in math, engineering, or a science in the fall of 2013. Applicants have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0. Scholarship Description: The Asian Pacific Community Fund partners with Verizon to financially assist students in their pursuit of higher education as they face the challenge of significantly rising costs of obtaining a college degree. These awards will support those who excel academically, are leaders amongst their peers and are making a positive impact in their communities. The Asian Pacific Community Fund and Verizon are proud to announce the awardees of the 2011 Scholarship Program. These students each received $1,000 to assist them with their pursuit of higher education.
