Scholarship Description: Southeast University (SEU) is one of the national key universities administered directly under the Ministry of Education of China. As a centennial prestigious university, it is located near the city center of Nanjing, to the west of the Purple Mountain and the south of Xuanwu Lake. The scholarship is specially for sponsoring students from U.S.A. to study at SEU.
Degree-student Scholarship: The scholarship is for newly-admitted full-time students with the nationality of U.S.A., who are degree students for postgraduate programs at SEU.
Non-degree Student Scholarship for Exchange Students: The scholarship is for exchange students with the nationality of U.S.A., who will study at SEU for 3 months or above to achieve academic credits accepted by their home universities in U.S.A.
What does it cover? Values of Degree-student Scholarship:
-Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, fee for laboratory experiment, fee for internship, and fee for basic learning materials; and accommodation fee for dormitory on campus;
-Living allowance;(monthly allowance for master’s degree students is CNY1700; monthly allowance for doctor’s degree students is CNY2000)
-One-off settlement subsidy after registration;
-Fee for outpatient medical service, Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Protection Program for International Students in China;
-One-off inter-city travel subsidy.

-For Degree-student Scholarship: copy of passport, copy of highest degree certificate, Scholarship Application Form (Which you can produce after you finish the online application), 2 recommendation letters, a research plan no less than 800 words, physical examination report, SEU Application Form.
For Non-degree Student Scholarship: copy of passport, document proving the identity of being a current student at a university of U.S.A. and Scholarship Application Form (Which you can produce after you finish the online application), SEU Application Form.
Scholarship Application Deadline: Application deadline for Degree-student Scholarship is April 15, 2013; Application deadline for Non-degree Student Scholarship is May 30, 2013.
